It's official: it's been 10 whole days since I started learning how to code—and I’m already losing my mind. OH. MY. GOD. These last 240 hours? Completely consumed by obsessing over my website.

Here’s a bit of backstory to why I’m so excited: for the past two years, I’ve been totally burnt out, completely drained of any passion I had for my art. But now… I feel alive again!!! Okay, maybe I’m being dramatic, but I really am so excited for the new year. In just 10 days, I’ve made my very first flash game, learned a tiny 0.5% of HTML, CSS, and Java—but hey, it’s progress!

I don’t want to jinx anything, but I just *know* next year is going to be amazing. Here’s to keeping this momentum going!

finally finished this diary page today. i wanted a place to put all my thoughts. at first, i was just going to use this as an update log for my site, but then i figured it’d be nice to keep my inner thoughts here too. not that i have many—my brain feels like it’s on autopilot most of the time. i have work in 2 hours, so i’m glad i got this done. now i won’t spend my whole shift obsessing over it. it’s finished, and it’s exactly how i wanted it to be. that’s enough for now.

the rest of this week is going to be busy. i’ve got so much to do updating my site with better visuals, and to be honest, i still have a lot to learn when it comes to coding. i’m trying to figure it out bit by bit, but it feels like such a huge task. still, i’m determined to make everything look just right, even if it takes some time.

on a brighter note, i made this little drag-and-drop flash game! it’s super simple and honestly kind of poorly made, but i’m still proud of it. there’s something satisfying about creating something, even if it’s not perfect. it feels like a small step forward, and i’ll take that.

in the upcoming months, i’ll have made real progress—not just with coding but with the overall feel of the site. it’s a lot of work, but i think it’ll be worth it.
